Lyndel, our resident coach, offers flatwork and jumping lessons for you and your own horse. We have a floodlit sand arena, full size grass arena, show jump paddock a d full cross country course for you to challenge your horse over.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer trail rides, mainly due to the exorbitant cost of its insurance!
We have a small number of school horses; unfortunately, these are not suitable for all experience levels or body types. Please get in touch to discuss your individual needs. We do not offer group lessons on our horses.
We only allow registered, insured coaches to hire the course here, and only when conditions allow. Safety will always be our main priority here.
If you’re not sure re weather conditions, please contact us. We often do not get as much rain as the coast, so are sometimes able to continue when you wouldn’t be able to ride at home. If we haven’t contacted you, call us!
Volunteering at Willow's Leap
Interested in spending some time learning about what’s involved in running a horse property? We’ve been hosting horsey and handy backpacker volunteers for over 10 years. Our comfortable 2 bedroom cabin can be yours, from a few weeks to a couple of months, in return for a few hours a day on the farm. You’ll be treated as part of the family, and included in our day-to-day lives; horse experience is essential! Contact us for more information.
